Avoid this product - it sucks

The solenoid was bad and cost me a lot of unnecessary work, worry and money. My mechanic bought another at the local Brigs store and the mower started right up.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Lasted 7 months best at Starters & Parts

So mine lasted 7 months and it failed, the company just immediately sent me an RMA for an exchange. Will be updated with customer service and/or when a new one fails. I wish the mower manufacturers had put them somewhere cheaper!

Pros
  • Test for a year
Cons
  • Quality

Ideal for spares

Can't comment on durability yet as it's only been up a few weeks but seems to be working great. I put it on an 11hp go kart ken bar to replace the original after it won't start just click click click.

The only problem was that the existing bolt diameter was too large.

The only problem was that the existing bolt diameter was too big for the new solenoid. All I did was take wider and wider flathead screwdriver sizes and twist them around to widen the receiving holes until the studs fit. Total processing time 3 min. There will be a continuous performance.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure
