It's light and does the job well. It connects well to the valve and is pretty quick. The packaging says plus or minus 3 psi, which is a lot. Mine inflates about a psi too much. I would, and do, recommend a good, accurate pressure gauge for use with this unit. I was happy with the slime which has the advantage of not releasing air when checking the pressure. Both purchases - this inflator and the tire pressure gauge - are the result of many hours of reading reviews.

I have tried to inflate a bike tire with this pump several times but it never worked properly. The tire was 42psi and I wanted to inflate it to 60psi. When connected to the tire, the display correctly showed the initial pressure. Following written instructions, I ramped the gauge up to 60psi, waited for it to stop flashing, then turned it on. Not sure how long it will last BUT worked fine the first time. These things don't feel "hard" so your mileage may vary, but here's what I found on first use. I plugged it into a standard 110v outlet. You will need an extension cord as the power cord is very short. The DC cable is barely enough to reach most car tires from the cigarette lighter.
