Worked to inflate - only minor issues

Not sure how long it will last BUT worked fine the first time. These things don't feel "hard" so your mileage may vary, but here's what I found on first use. I plugged it into a standard 110v outlet. You will need an extension cord as the power cord is very short. The DC cable is barely enough to reach most car tires from the cigarette lighter. It's silly that they didn't add at least a few extra feet to the DC cable. Quality Control/Design - Got all the parts I needed and they even included a second pack of pump tips. Hopefully that doesn't mean someone else hasn't gotten them yet. The case fits very well, with two power cords, a device and a pump head. There were four SUV tires that slowly lost pressure due to working from home during COVID. They were all in the 26-29psi range (typically inflated to 33-35psi when the tires are cold, or 32 when the tires are warm). 1psi per tire at starting points of 26-29psi. I then set the pump to 35psi and turned it on. Note that the instructions don't say you get a better seal if you have the locking lever in the raised position when you slide it over the tire inflation valve and then fold it down (parallel to the hose) before adding air - but you do and do I ran the first tire to 35psi and it didn't shut off right away so I turned it off manually and checked with my two gauges. They showed about 34 psi. I put it back on the same set of tires for 36 and it did it about 10 seconds after the display said 36psi but manually shut off before it hit 36.5. I then checked and both my gauges showed 35psi. For the other 3 tires, the pump was set at 36.0psi and left running until it automatically shut off. In all three cases, both of my gauges read 35psi or very close to it. Either both of my gauges read as low as 1psi. inches, or the pump display reads as high as 1 psi. inches at 35/36 psi inches. It's certainly close enough for car tires. You probably won't get close to this accuracy with a gauge built into a gas station pump station, and I've seen some cheap stick gauges show a couple of pound difference. the display shows that the pump has the set pressure) was the same for all tires. The auto shut off works, seems like it just waits a bit for the programmed pressure to be reached before shutting off, but it never read (not even half a psi). Even though the car was in my garage in the mid 80's, the garage pump was VERY hot. The instructions say not to use it for more than 10 minutes (and I didn't), but the case was very hot by the time I was done. In short, it is excellent for inflating car tires. I suspect it will run a bit slower when powered from a 12V cigarette lighter.

Pros
  • Air compressors and blowers
Cons
  • Big and bulky
