SUPER, SUPER, SUPER

I now have three of these saddles and they are great. After years of searching for the right saddle and spending money I have found nirvana in the world of saddles. Maybe not for everyone, but for me they are the ultimate answer.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • I don't like it at all, everything is fine

Good, but not quite identical to the old Fly.

These are regular saddles but the cover is different from the old Terry Fly. I don't know if it's faux leather but now they're a lot slippery than my old ones. It will likely lose it with use. The geometry isn't quite the same either, but the saddle seems comfortable and that's the main thing.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive

Good all purpose saddle.

I just bought a second one. I had the first one for about 10 years before it expired. (All padded saddles become uncomfortable over time. Some people claim that Brooks leather saddles don't.) However, unless you can find a saddle that fits five or ten, I recommend trying every saddle in the store rather than playing online dollars and you don't. I don't want to buy it. gambling. Not light and without Kevlar panels but fits my butt and lasts longer than some other great saddles.

Sturdy rails, a bit stiff but surprisingly comfortable

I'm back with Terry Fly saddles after a 3 year hiatus. I've tried a few other cheap ones and they all broke or made me tired even though they were soft. This saddle is very comfortable for me. I also like the length because I ride a hardtail with the seatpost hanging down (due to the full squelch) and have to compress the saddle with my hips on descents. It took my butt a month to adjust to the stiffer saddle, but we've had a great relationship ever since. I will buy this again. The price was…

Much better than the price suggests. Exceptional value for less than $80.

What works for me may not work for you -- -- I'm 6'1" and 210 pounds. But I have them on two of my most used bikes. One is a classic steel frame touring bike and the other is a carbon climbing road bike. The build quality is very good, the style is clean. Most importantly, the crotch didn't go numb on long rides. An exceptional product for the price. Better (for me at least) than the $200 seat that came with my Specialized Tarmac Comp years ago. Give it a try if you haven't found the "right…

It burns my sit bones

It was convenient at first. After two weeks and 150 miles my sit bones started to hurt. I called Terry and they told me to wait a little longer. I've ridden another 400 miles in the saddle and my skin and sit bones are burning over the skin. i can't drive I hurt when I'm not driving. The warranty period has now expired and they cannot be returned or exchanged. I shouldn't have been so accommodating and asked for my money back. My sit bones are 143mm apart. Your site does not match the model…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Legacy model

Good choice for sporty riding

I have Terry Flys on all four of my road bikes. Three of these are the leather coated version of the Ti rail, but I wanted a synthetic coating for my all-weather bike. I'm a 51 year old road racer who averages 100-125 miles a week. After trying several other saddles, I keep coming back to these. They just seem to fit and support in all the right places without interfering with my pedal travel. The version with Ti rails absorbs bumps a little better, but otherwise the two versions fit and work…
