This is by far the best value for money. It's faster than a padded stick, heats up less, and distributes heat more evenly across the substrate. The best part is that they are cheaper too. Connect it to the thermostat and forget about it. The current ones are over 6 months old and still heat up great.

This pillow was crumpled so I could never put it down without jumping out and my lizard found the cord and bit through the cord and got electrocuted. His face was covered in bruises and blood trickled from the corners of his mouth. He seems fine, but he seemed sick. But it definitely affected what he did to god knows what with my poor lizard.

Worked Less Than 24 Hours. normal use. Plugged it in and it seems to be working fine. I felt him warm up. The next day, the heating pad turned into a freezer. I've tried different outlets, all with the same result. I plugged in a smaller heating pad I had and it worked fine. I liked the larger size of it but it didn't even last 24 hours.

I actually use these for cats simply because they seem less flammable than mammalian food mats. They have incredible power, they can get so hot it can burn you! But the grip is good. Also, I never worry about a fire. I put it under the cat houses and it warms the floor for them. They love it!

It works for what I need. I bought this to put under the slates of my beard in her aquarium during the winter. So far it's been great. I had to turn it off because it got too hot. I like having temperature control as opposed to UTH glue. Even my beard loves a warm bed at night. This is much better than just heating with my ceramic heart heater. Now she has a choice of where to sleep and where to stay warm.
