Rubber Grip - Filter

This is the first oil filter that I can install and remove in 5,000 miles without tools. I don't know anything about the internal construction and what makes one filter better than another inside. The rubber grip on the handle deserves 5 stars.

I bought these high mileage filters for my old cars.

I bought these high mileage filters for my old cars. I'm not sure of the main differences between regular filters and high mileage filters, but they seem to do the job they were designed to do. I use them in combination with high mileage oil.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Everything fine

Get in control. for oil filter

The "high mileage" aspect of this product is not why I buy Fram. I buy Fram oil filters whenever I can because they have paint to grip on the bottom of the filter. black thing. I've been changing the oil in family cars since I was a little boy and I hate it when I have to use a filter removal tool. I would say that with a good grip and a slow, steady spin, the Fram filters will be manually rotated 90% of the time. I would recommend this filter to anyone who changes oil frequently.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Frequency

High quality, low cost

In the Fram filter range, this filter removes the highest percentage of contaminants. I've always been amazed at the number of "car enthusiasts" who delve into the smallest details of their car but completely ignore the oil. Without getting into a discussion about motor oil, I'm just saying that common sense tells you that oil is important. Using a quality fully synthetic oil and a filter that actually keeps it clean will do incredible things to prevent serious engine damage. I've heard…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen

great value! one of the best filters

I've been using TG filters for years and get great results. Oil change every 3 months/3,000 km. I can handle that with this filter. x2! For example I use TG2 on my 96 Tbird as a single owner. It has driven me (and others) for 86,000 and still hasn't needed an engine overhaul (not counting the emission control system). I also tend to photograph them from time to time - sometimes for interstate conventions, but mostly just for fun. - so I didn't quite treat her with kid gloves. Well I guess it's…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Not bad
