Big and responsible

It works and the quality doesn't seem bad, but it's huge! Probably at least three times the size of a normal peephole. I should have read the measurements first but who knew the eyes could be so big. A special bit is required for installation.

It has a small door.

It was inexpensive, well made and easy to install. I installed it using a ruler and a hole saw. It remains to be seen how well the weather will fare here in Southeast Alaska, but so far so good. When that goes out I'll be back here to update!

Mine came disassembled - no instructions for lens order and orientation

Pros: It's a significant fraction of the price. I would call it well done. nice and hard Solid brass and glass. Not very good: mine broke into pieces. I had to spend a lot of time arranging the glass lenses in different orders, flipping and swapping them until I found one that looked the best. So I don't know if it's assembled correctly. It's clear that you can tell which part of the kit is inside the door and which is outside. But figuring out the order of the lenses in the housing coming in…
