A good buy for long term builds and testing!

Reduced temperature and can be applied very easily and evenly. I went for a pea coat in the middle of my R7 2700 and it reduced the standby temp by 5-7 degrees compared to a cooler master gel. On the OCCT stress test, the temperature dropped by 10-15 degrees! Good product. The GAMMAX RGB BLK 4 cooler with copper-colored heat pipes was used, which does not offer the smoothest surface for installing the processor. Very excited to see the results.

Don't believe the hype

I've used it on a pair of r9 290s with a modified bios for a better fan profile. Both cards stayed at 68 degrees for about 2 days before the fans started running at higher speeds. In the end, both cards were running at 86+ degrees with 100% fan speed. Upon inspection, I noticed the thermal paste "leaking" out of the GPU die. I reapplied the paste and after a few days I had the same results. I ended up taking a chance with Kpx on one card and Syy 157 on the other. So far, so good.

It's definitely worth it!

This is the best thermal paste I have ever used. (Hydronaut) It is specially designed for water cooler. It's just the right consistency - NOT runny at all, stays where you apply, pliable enough to spread as much as you like. It comes with a small flat tip designed to fit over the tip of the tubing, but I've used it as a hand held dilator and it worked perfectly. You could probably just place a small blob in the center of the CPU and spread it out with pressure, but I wanted to know that the…
