Description of Thermal paste Arctic MX-5, syringe, 4 g

Thermal grease Arctic MX-5 4 grams Spatula article ACTCP00046A. The surfaces of processor chips and cooling systems are covered with microscopic dents; Arctic MX-5 thermal paste consists of carbon microparticles that fill these cavities. This results in extremely high thermal conductivity, ensuring fast and efficient heat dissipation from the CPU or GPU. With its outstanding performance, the Arctic MX-5 is an excellent choice not only for overclockers and enthusiasts, but also for other applications requiring heat transfer. The Arctic MX-5 proves without a doubt that high performance does not necessarily come at a high price. Due to its consistency, Arctic MX-5 is easy to apply. Unlike metal oxide or liquid metal pastes, MX-4 ARCTIC is metal-free and non-conductive. This eliminates the risk of short circuits and eliminates the need to worry about corrosion damage to the radiator floor caused by liquid metal. Compared to metal or silicone thermal pastes, you won''t have to make any compromises with Arctic MX-5, once applied it will last up to 8 years. Viscosity: 550 Poise Density: 3.2 g/cm2 Working temperature: from -40 to ~180 o Specific volume resistance: 1.9 x 1013 Ω-cm Breakdown voltage: 250 V/mil Equipment: Syringe with thermal paste, Spatula.

Absolutely unusable product, not suitable for use.

If the oil separates, then the paste is no longer suitable. For a thousand, excuse me, is this quality? There is a dry, cracked mass in the syringe, only oil is choking. I don’t know what is more pitiful: the money for the purchase, or that I can’t fix my laptop or return the client on time .

Pros
  • They say it's good, but I couldn't find out
Cons
  • When trying to apply, the oil squeezed out. He took out the piston, and there is a piece with cracks

Its impossible to use it, dont waste your money.

I take the same paste a second time. The first time there was an excellent uniform consistency, it was well smeared and kept the temperature at a hot 5800X. In the second tube, the paste is divided into semi-dried chewing gum and liquid, which makes it inconvenient to apply and smear, and the liquid flows from the processor to the motherboard.

Pros
  • The temperature is lower, but when a good specimen comes across
Cons
  • I got a marriage with a paste that breaks up into liquid and solid parts

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

Notebook HP ProBook 450 G7. 10th generation i5 processor. After replacement, the operating temperature dropped ~ 10 degrees. I was too lazy to replace it myself, I went to the master. He said that the paste is original. The consistency is viscous, closer to chewing gum.

Pros
  • Reliability of products, price

I can't believe I paid for it, the quality is disgusting.

A liquid yellowish precipitate has flowed out, the thermal paste itself is like chewing gum in consistency, it quickly hardens. I'm afraid to imagine what would happen when disassembling the cooling system after use. I had to issue a refund.

Cons
  • Defective item delivered

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

Very thick paste, more like plasticine than paste, it is difficult to spread without a spatula. But, I reduced the temperatures in the tests by 10-15 degrees. Before that, I used Chinese paste, I thought it was normal, but no, this is the norm. In short, to reduce the temperature, that's it.

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

The MX-4 was good, this one is even better. In my opinion, the new paste is more plastic, has better adhesion. Given a flat heatsink base, a very small amount is required, even for large processors. So 4 grams can be enough for a significant number of applications.

Just super, it's beautifully made, I'm very happy with it.

Got pros: Performs all functions 100%. Cools i7 12700K with NZXT X63 without problems. The minimum temperature is 25 degrees, the maximum temperature above 60 did not work out yet to warm up) Its cons: Quite viscous, this may not be a disadvantage, but you just need to keep in mind that without a spatula it is probably hard to apply evenly.

Bought 4 months ago. Recently, I changed the thermocouple in devices several times, and all the times the thermal paste was squeezed out with water. The paste itself was very thick, it was necessary to mix this substance on the processor to obtain a homogeneous substance. It was recommended to me as the best, since without water, but this is apparently the last experience. At first there was no water, but then I went with water. Maybe it’s not water at all, but just termukha oil. But the fact…

Pros
  • 8g
Cons
  • Very thick. Water is squeezed out too

Just a terrible product, very upset.

Somehow, the paste that was contained within the syringe dried out in layers, and in between those layers was a brownish liquid. Chewing gum on the exterior, which cannot be smeared on the site, is followed by slurry, which also cannot be smeared on the site. It would appear that the storage requirements have been breached, despite the fact that the paste has not yet reached its expiration date. I'm waiting for a response from Arctic since when such a highly marketed product is purchased for a…

What did I pay for? This product is a failure.

The worst thermal paste ever! Simply said, there is no way to put it to use. She is quite sticky and thick to the touch. It is similar to applying paint that has been left out in the open and is in a transitional condition between being liquid and having already begun to dry. Like chewing gum. the substance adheres more strongly to the blade included in the package than it does to the processor. There are occasions when a straight piece emerges from the food processor, leaving it…

Pros
  • None of those things are present. Despite this, it could perhaps transfer heat more effectively than mx-4.
Cons
  • When compared to mx-4, this application is terrible. Extremely stretchy and sticky to the touch. It smears like clay just like that.

I am very upset, the product is no good.

Toxic thermal paste Simply put, it can't be used. She is extremely viscous and outrageously sticky. It is similar to applying paint that has been left in an open container and is halfway between wet and dry. like a gum chewing. adheres to the kit's blade more than the processor. On occasion, a clean, straight piece will come off the processor. Absolute garbage. With such a paste, one cannot work. Complete letdown, so I purchased an additional 8 grams. At first glance, it appeared to be more…

Pros
  • None of them exist. Even if mx-4 may transmit heat more effectively.
Cons
  • Poor application in comparison to mx-4. crazily stretches and is quite sticky. It spreads like damp clay.

A good balance of price/quality, recommend it.

Wow, talk about a double-take in terms of utility! After applying the native thermal paste to the dropsy GamerStorm Captain 240X White, I can confirm that there is nothing discernible difference between the two. In my setup, the coolers are all set to run at extremely quiet speeds. The i7-7700k processor was stolen. The old thermal paste, which has been in use for 4 years (!) at idle, reaches a temperature of 39 degrees. Temperatures reach 83 degrees while under load in Prime95. We used the…

Pros
  • I don't know much about thermal pastes, thus it's hard for me to say. However, a comparison can be made. The comments contain further discussion.

Not a bad product, quite normal quality.

What a different perception the use gives. I must state up front that there is absolutely no difference between the native thermal paste and the dropsy GamerStorm Captain 240X White. In my instance, certain speeds are set on all coolers to produce the quietest possible operation. Scalped i7 7700k processor. 39 degrees were recorded when the old thermal paste, which had been in use for 4 years (! ), was left idle. Prime95 emits 83 degrees while it is under load. We positioned the lauded MX-5…

Pros
  • I don't have a lot of experience with thermal pastes, so I can't really say. However, there is a comparison to be made. See more in the remarks.

What an interesting twist on the use of the phrase! I feel the need to state right off the bat that after using the native thermal paste on the dropsy GamerStorm Captain 240X White, there is absolutely no discernible difference between the two. On my case, as well as on all of the coolers, I have particular speeds set so that there is the least amount of noise possible. Processor i7 7700k that has been overclocked. 39 degrees Fahrenheit during downtime spent on antiquated thermal paste that has

Pros
  • Because I haven't worked with thermal pastes very often, giving an accurate answer is difficult for me. However, there is something that can be contrasted. You may read more about it in the comments.
