The most convenient meat thermometer I've ever had!

Switching on and off by opening and closing the probe – very practical and saves the battery because you don't forget to switch it off. Also, I like a wire probe that can be stuck into food with the oven door closed. Therefore, a decent thermometer is much more convenient than the previous ones I had. Shopping is easy too.

Worked for two months

During the work it was cool, I was particularly pleased with the convenience of the wired probe. The 2-4 second accuracy claim is a bit wrong, the hotter the subject the longer it takes, and at 190F it was closer to 8 seconds. But then, two months later, the display just started flickering and all the LCDs lit up. Luckily it was behind the rear window.

Well made and accurate

Cute little meat thermometer. I love that it has a detachable probe that you can use if you want or don't have to if you don't want to. I tested it with another meat thermometer and it is very accurate. It comes with instructions on how to calibrate it, which is nice. I didn't have to calibrate mine as it works exactly as it came. It is well made and makes a robust impression.

The replacement block works!

The product had good user reviews but mine couldn't accurately measure ice water or boiling water and didn't calibrate extremes with either sensor. Revain is replacing it so I'll find out soon if it was defective, damaged or just a bad product. FYI: Revain's locker-based product return system deserves my praise - really neat and convenient! -- The replacement unit was received within a few days and is calibrated and working properly! worked the first time

The product documentation is not very good and is presented three times on a small piece of paper that is difficult to read. This item was also packaged with a small red disk the size of a battery and a spare battery, but nowhere in the documentation is this mentioned as a replacement or does it need to be installed prior to use. I searched for a long time to find out that the manufacturer didn't specify what this battery is for and only from other people's reviews did I find out that the…
