I was very surprised how much my son (10 years old) liked it. I bought him for a trip because he's tired of the car and therefore can't read books or shoot at screens for a long time. He enjoyed it and was happy to report back to me on his progress by solving progressive puzzles. I realized there was a sort of "mission" that the kids seem to enjoy.

No 5 stars because not much content. Similar to Sudoku but Minecraft style. It will take you a minute to figure out how it works, but it's easy enough to explain to my (very intelligent) 8 year old niece, who loves it. She can't understand the more complex ones yet, so it would be nice to get back to that in a year or so. Great for car rides to cut down on screen time.

I took this for my 7 year old and she loves it! She immediately dived in and solved about 4 puzzles. The increasing difficulty is handled very well as each puzzle builds on the previous one. I think she will need some time. The board and pieces themselves are well made and seem to hold up to many games. Overall I am very satisfied, it is absolutely worth the money!

puzzle difficulty level is quite good for a young child to a teenager. Easy to learn, beginner puzzles are very simple, good for little kids. Expert puzzles are much more difficult and work well for patient teenagers and the elderly. The quality of the puzzle and the details (except for the color) are excellent.
