Just right for me

I wish I had a chain holder a long time ago. When I tried to find it years ago, nobody knew where I could get it. Now I understand how common they are. Given my 32.5mm seat tube, this was the obvious choice. It seems like the obvious choice for most who don't have a seat tube that fits another brand exactly. It's pretty light - all the weight falls on the steel collar. The plastic feels cheap and weightless - just what you need if it's going to last - and it probably will. My chain no longerโ€ฆ

innovative. bright. works.

I can't say anything bad so far. I put it on my wife's road bike because the compact gearing (50-34) was giving her some chain slack issues (which I couldn't adjust). Your bike is too small for me to put it to a real test (change under different conditions, especially standing and tossing the bike). It's also easy to set up on the fly. It doesn't have an anti-movement rubber element like some similar products, but it doesn't have to either. The collar is tightened at will, but mine hasn't budged an inch. There is chainโ€ฆ

Why am I saying this item is a necessary safety requirement? And please note that I am using my specific Terra Trike experience. However, this point applies to all bike/trike configurations. Why?. I rode my bike a long time before I switched to the Terra Trike, and many years ago, in college, on a Schwinn Paramont outfitted with all the Campagnolo gear, on a sunny, clear day in Denver, Colorado, in traffic, i found myself being hit from behind inch again dropping my chain, in traffic theโ€ฆ
