No major issues. I use this to mark other barometers and it suits my purpose perfectly. Knowing that the tool I'm using was compared and not just built and sold is reassuring and worth the extra cost, at least for this user. The instrument arrived safely and came with a calibration report.

This barometer is beautifully designed and manufactured. I gave two stars for the following reasons. 1) There were no instructions on how to adjust the altitude of my weather station. 2) There were no download instructions on the company's website. 3) I had to make several calls to the company to finally decide how to set the barometer for altitude (hint, it's hidden behind a sticker with a serial number). 4) I was told that removing the serial number tag to access the height adjustment screw…

The unit looks well made but I can't get it home in working order. the glass surface shattered into multiple splinters - nearly identical damage. It is packaged in a thin cardboard box (not even corrugated) with a 1/2 inch layer of soft polyurethane foam at the top and bottom of the box. This box is packaged in a large Revain box with several sealed air pockets that prevent movement but are insufficient to protect it from all sides. It might work if delivered to the room on a silver platter…
