Narrow and not secure enough to prevent spinning. So it's great for casual use or light, soft loads. I wouldn't recommend it for more demanding applications.

There is nothing wrong with this product. You really have to make sure you're pulling it towards the seatpost as hard as you can because there are a lot of levers at the end and if you put something heavy on it and without twisting it hard enough it will swing at you.

The luggage rack was apparently a return. 1 set screw was broken off, the post is bent in the corner. There were too many problems with the return, so I straightened the corner of the post with a vise and retightened the stripped set screw. Disappointed that the seller sent an item that was not inspected after it was returned.

I'm not sure what you can tell from the photo but the alignment of the link bracket to the platform is wrong and appears to be offset by about 15 degrees causing the rack to shift tends . The welds look good, but the pressing together during the manufacturing process leaves something to be desired.

Great that the one-piece center section can serve as a rear fender of sorts. Requires an adjustable fit, like a combination bar with a needle. Even at the widest adjustment, the extreme vertical brace would hit the bottom of my seat. Also, the black is only lightly painted, any slight scratch and it reveals the bright silver aluminum underneath.

Very stable bike rack that I was able to easily mount on my son's 20" bike. Based on the frame I managed to hold 50lbs so it's perfect for transporting. School backpack and basketball.The only problem I contacted the seller and according to him I received a different model.I didn't have 4 spokes to attach a bungee net for helmets, balls etc.

This luggage rack is easy to fit and appears to be a great product. I attached a metal basket with MANY zip ties (on each side of the center placket) to keep it secure. When we stopped last night I saw the basket tip over and then the post broke! I was afraid my basket would come off and fly down the road and hit one of my fellow racers, so our leader gave me more zip ties to hold on to until I got home. I'm disappointed because 1) my return window is closed (of course) and 2) I now have to buy

I am using my battery rack for my EBike conversion. It's durable, with strong welds, and attaches to the seatpost with minimal effort. The rack is rated at 22 pounds and my battery weighs 6 pounds. The rubber pads were a little tricky to put on so I glued them to the inside of the mount which worked great. As one of the other reviewers noted, there is a slight tilt once installed, but not enough to be concerned. I modified mine to accommodate the battery plate and am very happy with the result.
