First time I've used them and I'll never work without them again, they're great shims and also do a great job leveling with yellow wedges you can buy in a set with pliers (which I never used because you can break them just by tightening them with your fingers!

I really wanted to like these spacer clips but when it comes time to break them out of the base they don't fit at all. Some break at the bottom as expected and about 50% break at the top of the clip leaving a small piece that is difficult to remove and has yet to be removed from the room. After the tiles in a bathroom and the walls in the shower room, I'm fed up. Don't waste money on them.

husband worked. It definitely worked! We will continue to buy replacement clips when we remodel our entire house. He found them a little awkward to use. His words were actually "they are pain". I have to imagine that part of this was a learning curve and I hope it gets easier with time. The result is always perfectly level floors! The results are totally worth the effort! The clips are great, I've used 300+ clips and only one didn't break because it was bypassed by a thin rubber band became. As for the leveling, I think I worked a little too slowly and did too much thinning and left it tight so mine was a little less than perfect. You can see the grout sinking into some corners, but you can slide your shoe goes over all the tiles and doesn't feel sticky. I needed more wedges and found the Floor & Decor Delt wedges would work with them.

These are the best spacers for the money! We do a lot of tiling, so I know they sell the same systems in stores for hundreds of dollars, which is crazy. This is the thinnest pad I've found on the market. We refill 2-3,500 packs each month and reuse the wedges 3-4 times until they're gone. It's also good if you need to stack a bunch of used ones together at the bottom of your starting wall to align with a bunch of 8's or so, you've got the first row level.

I used them on 6x36 plank ceramic tiles. Worked exactly as advertised and really helped level those large tiles, but there were a few flaws. First you need to make sure the tile is already very flat before inserting the wedges. Otherwise, the wedge can flatten the tiles by lifting the bottom tile and leaving an empty space. The main bathroom is currently undergoing renovation. I bought an expensive Rubi tile leveling system, 1/8 inch clamps, wedges and a tension tool which were expensive. I have used a simple set of alignment clamps with wedges and tools on several jobs. They work fine. I keep coming back for more, don't I?! These clips in particular don't work as well as others, at least on thinner tiles. The main issue here is the space in these clips where the insertion of the wedges is larger than any other I've used. A 6" x 24" wood tile is thinner than 5/16" or so for this job.
