Didn't work for me, I've tried it on carpet, hardwood floors and even plastic in a dog cage but nothing looks like the pictures me gave it 3 stars because it actually works for something else entirely, my husband uses it at work to detect fluorescent dyes and he says it works great for that. 🤷🏻‍♀️

These black lights work flawlessly and are designed to be comfortable to hold and use. I find it is a good size and light weight and easy to carry. at an affordable price. Each black bulb requires 2 batteries (AAA not included). Personally, I could only see detergent stains in the washing machine or highlight fluorescent shoe colors. I liked it.

Let me first point out that these are fairly intense UV lamps, but that doesn't make them antibacterial, nor do they claim to be. My UV test card shows that the light is very intense - the darker the purple lower window gets, the more intense the light. It doesn't say which way they go - they go with the flat end toward the lid, but with the positive end toward the head. Turn it on and off by pressing the rubber button at the end. A little hard to press; That's good - it won't accidentally turn

I can't get these lights to illuminate spots but they come in handy as a black light. Requires two AAA batteries which are not included but are present. The lamp is small and easy to take with you. The beam is bright, especially when focusing on a small area. It's easy to make the beam smaller or larger depending on your needs. I started carrying one with me at night when I walk my dog because we have coyotes in the area. I hope that if I have to, I can scare them away by shining this light on…
