I was considering buying TORTUN4, but decided on TORTUN4L. I have a 2012 Tacoma 4x4 sr5 with a 4 blade package. The Timbren website recommended TORTUN4 as did their customer support. I didn't go with them because I would end up with a 1/4 inch gap. The instructions give a spacing of 1/2" to 1 1/2". I had a 5 1/4 inch gap between the top of the blade and the frame fender. Purchased for a 2006 Nissan Frontier. You will need to detach the axle from the springs as the clevis is held onto the springs with screws. They stabilize a truck with a heavy load BUT without a heavy load it causes the rear of the truck to rebound on bumps as this limits the suspension travel to about an inch in the rear before contact. The rubber doesn't compress much, so instead of gradually slowing to a stop with the stock bumper, it comes to a hard stop and the rear of the truck bounces…
