Expensive but you get what you pay for.

Replaced front and rear on my Suzuiki Equator (Nissan Frontier) and all you have to do is compare the original to this one to see how much value you are getting. What a stiffening job he does with your suspension and I tow a casita RV so they were badly needed.

It did not help my 2014 Nissan Frontier.

It didn't help my 2014 Nissan Frontier at all I have a 400lb capacity camper trailer and I have a fiberglass body on the back of my truck that really causes a truck to not work at all It doesn't sag, but the moment I attach the trailer to my truck, it sags quite a bit.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Some bugs

Easy to install, worth every penny

I have a 2019 Nissan Frontier that I use in my handyman/general contractor business. I carry a lot of tools in the back and sometimes tow a dump trailer too. The stock fender worked great with the tools, but when I bought the new dump trailer it was quite shortened and really affected the handling. These solved the problem immediately. With a trailer, the rear no longer sags and the truck drives better without a trailer. It also gave the truck about 4 inches of rear lift. They were very easy to

Easy assembly - don't be afraid of self-assembly

I'm only writing about the assembly for the time being, because I haven't thought about it yet. Rear bumpers on my 2019 Nissan Frontier Pro4X 4X4 and installing a new Timbren Tortun4L. All you have to do is completely loosen or remove the four nuts on the bottom of the fender mount, remove the old fender and replace with the timbre. I recommend using a tang on the socket wrench to lengthen it for better leverage. Start on the passenger side to understand the process as the driver's side is a…

Easy Installation / Low Price / Perfect Solution

I'm not a mechanic but I can follow instructions and do basic car maintenance. Thanks to the manufacturer's instructions and watching some YouTube videos, I was able to easily install the timbrens in about 15 minutes per side. Essentially jack up under the car and mount a separate support (to relieve pressure) from the rear leaf spring, remove the tire, mark the tops of the leaf spring studs (where they meet the axle) with a marker, remove Bolt from the center of the leaf spring, remove the…

Works well. Pretty easy to install if you follow the instructions carefully.

Components, steel AND rubber, showed signs of corrosion before receipt. The product stabilized the load well and increased pendulum control. I've used this timbre kit in combination with Rancho 9-speed manual-adjust shocks to boost and stabilize trailer towing. The end of the screw in the rubber spindle would still come out of the ground and hit the frame when hitting big bumps or potholes while towing. I cut the old gel shoe inserts into small 1/4 inch pieces and stuffed them inside the…

Back no longer sags :0)

I was considering buying TORTUN4, but decided on TORTUN4L. I have a 2012 Tacoma 4x4 sr5 with a 4 blade package. The Timbren website recommended TORTUN4 as did their customer support. I didn't go with them because I would end up with a 1/4 inch gap. The instructions give a spacing of 1/2" to 1 1/2". I had a 5 1/4 inch gap between the top of the blade and the frame fender. TORTUN4 is 5" and TORTUN4L is 4 1/2". Switching from TORTUN4L left me with 3/4" of clearance. I think off-road Tacomas have…

Good enough, but not quite.

Purchased for a 2006 Nissan Frontier. You will need to detach the axle from the springs as the clevis is held onto the springs with screws. They stabilize a truck with a heavy load BUT without a heavy load it causes the rear of the truck to rebound on bumps as this limits the suspension travel to about an inch in the rear before contact. The rubber doesn't compress much, so instead of gradually slowing to a stop with the stock bumper, it comes to a hard stop and the rear of the truck bounces…
