As an automotive enthusiast, I couldn't be happier with the Timken SET9 bearings. Based on my observations, they're sturdy, easy to install, and have improved the performance of my ride. The precision and quality are top-notch, and the durability has held up great. The only slight downside is the initial cost, but it's worth it for the long-term investment in your vehicle. Overall, I highly recommend this product for anyone in need of reliable bearings.
Pros
Cool
Cons
I don't really have any dislikes about this, everything is just fine
I bought this bearing to use as a reference for adjusting preload on AMC 20 differential axles that I have redesigned. I knew I could count on Timken to provide a bearing that exactly matched the one already pressed into my axle. Accordingly, the installation went smoothly.
This is the bearing you need to upgrade a solid axle to an AMC20 axle behind a CJ7 Widetrac jeep. However, if you choose to use internal seals, you will need to grind or "cut" the snap ring so that it cleans the internal seal and also doesn't put too much preload on the bearing.
