Poor performance for fire protection

Product did not work. An ordinary and simple product failed to power the ballasts and generated an alarming buzz. Looks like they sent me a broken model. Installing the broken car was easy enough. I do not recommend this product to anyone.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Interval

You have to connect it to 240V

I used it for my grow room. Don't get confused, you need to connect this to 240v so you don't have to do it yourself. Youtube videos work wonders. Changed the switch to 30 amps and bam I'm a pro. I highly recommend the products of this company.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Price piggy bank

Don't Buy From Smoke Alarms & Fire Alarms

They sent me two, now both plugs are sticking out. You can use 3 out of 4, but one you can't even get the plug out of the socket. I am very dissatisfied with the product. I believe my money should be refunded. I don't want to change again. I don't want to take it off, I only use 3 plugs.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Negative impression

Use 10/2 Romex with 30 amp brake

I installed it 6 months ago and it works fine. The controller is all plastic, so it feels a bit cheap, but it does the job. I use two 1000w bulbs, one 600w bulb and one 315w bulb on this controller. All you need is a 30 amp brake and some 10/2 Romex and you're done.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Quality

Best on the market - smoke detectors and fire detectors

This is amazing, it saved me a lot of lightbulbs in the long run, better power transfer on first start and also negligible sequencing of your ballasts this way you also avoid massive amp jump. They are easy to install but if you are not comfortable an electrician can do it but I have wired 3 of these myself without an electrician and have never had a single problem. Make sure you have a 30 amp, 10/2 wire switch and you're good to go. These timers also use 240V and 110V ballast cords, which is a

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Some faults

Good product in the "Safety & Security " category

For anyone interested. Yes, it's just a high quality contactor in a box that plugs into universal 120V/240V outlets (suicide). I highly recommend going with one of the ETL certified options if you are serious about this purchase as most honest electricians prefer to follow local codes. It would be nice to see competitive pricing for non-certified/hobbyist options. On the other hand, it works great! Does exactly what it's supposed to and does it well! Saved me a few hours compared to buildingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
