Do not use on wheels over $95

Absolute rubbish. Three weeks after the return window closed, the outlet broke. Really freaked out! When the impact head failed, it tore the BBS wheel notch to hell.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Little things

Check what you need!

The socket looks good and appears to be of good quality. Doesn't fit the bike I would use it on, the socket is NOT thin walled like most similar sockets. Also, the seller doesn't offer returns, which I just found out when trying to return it.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Not bad

Good 'til you drop

Looks like a well made socket but the plastic cover isn't strong at all. I dropped it and it ripped. I'll probably just remove the plastic grommet and wrap tape around the bushing. I'm a bit disappointed - sockets keep falling off. If the bushing was 1/8 inch shorter it might not have broken and still provide adequate protection.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Interval

If you take care of your drives, this is a must!

I wonder why I didn't buy this many years ago? When removing the wheels I used a punch head wrapped in electrical tape. This helped protect the rim from wear and tear. However, over time, the tape wears away and turns into a sticky mess. If you care about your drives, I highly recommend you buy one of these. It works flawlessly and leaves no traces on your drives.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • There are defects
