Worked well for two years and then melted down with HP Specter

Used successfully with notebook Razer Stealth to connect a 34" ultra-wide monitor and to power a laptop. The port got warm during charging, but not critical. I rarely used the USB port, just power and HDMI. When I switched to the HP Spectre, I noticed that running the same monitor and turning the laptop on caused the port to get even hotter - possibly using more power. The plastic case actually melted when I plugged in a USB drive and started using the Transferring 100GB of data started - the…

You can also just buy Apple One

Totally disappointed It is almost impossible to use the USB-A port and the HDMI port at the same time because there is too much space between the USB-C ports and HDMI, and between HDMI and USB-A is not enough doesn't work on my Nexus 6P, although I'm not sure if it's the phone. It also doesn't support high enough amperage power delivery for a 2016 MacBook Pro.If I can't charge and can't use both ports at the same time, it's for useless to me.haven't used it long enough to run into the issue…

Ports work, laptop won't charge

Product works as a VGA, Ethernet and USB3 adapter. Won't Charge Lenovo 920 Laptop There doesn't seem to be a way through the power supply. This is fine as a connection on battery power, but useless as a docking station where you need to charge your laptop. For some reason I have to reconnect the ethernet cables multiple times for the operating system to recognize the network. It doesn't have the same problem with HDMI adapter for multiple devices from other brands.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • No paint required

You could also just buy one from Apple

Very disappointed. It is almost impossible to use a USB-A port and an HDMI port at the same time because there is too much space between USB-C and HDMI and not enough space between HDMI and USB-A. The power adapter connector doesn't work on my Nexus 6P; although I'm not sure if it's the phone. It also doesn't support power delivery with high enough current for a 2016 MacBook Pro. If I can't charge and use both ports at the same time, it's useless to me. I haven't used it long enough to run into

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • So so

Works with Macbook Pro 2016 (DVI to DVI to USBc) as an adapter. However, when the computer goes to sleep, the monitors do not recognize the connection when waking up. The ONLY thing that helps get the signal back to the monitor is to disconnect the adapter from the cable on the DVI side. After reconnecting, it finds a signal, then reconnects and the monitors work again. Simply unplugging it from the laptop on the USB-C side (keeping the DVI side still connected) doesn't work. It's pretty…

Pros
  • Highest support and durability results from testers
Cons
  • Frequency

Not the Holy Grail, but close. And inexpensive.

I know what you are looking for. You want something that will charge your cell phone while listening to an external USB DAC. The bad news: your phone won't charge while you're listening. The good news is that when your phone is charged, you can listen without draining your phone. Music is streamed via Tidal via USB Audio Player PRO. While you still can't transfer MQA files through the phone app, the HiRes version comes through (I can see the dragonfly turning blue). When not using other apps on

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
