Description of ⚙️ TOGGLER SNAPTOGGLE BA Toggle Anchor, Zinc-Plated Steel Channel, Made in USA, Grip Range 3/8"-3-5/8", For Fastener Size 3/16"-24 UNC (Pack of 50)

Toggle anchor installs behind 3/8"- to 3-5/8"-thick hollow materials including gypsum board, drywall, and concrete block to provide a secure hold from within the mounting material. Anchor affixes to the wall before adding the bolt and fixture, allowing one-person installation and fixture changes. Made in USA, and works with 3/16"-24 UNC-threaded metal bolts (sold separately). Ultimate tensile strength is 238 lb. in 1/2" drywall and 802 lb. in concrete block with a 3/16"-24 UNC bolt. Use one-fourth or less of listed maximum values for safe working loads (as required by local regulations).

Durable and easy to use. USES SCREWS SIZE 10-24

I've used these in various sizes for years. They are exceptionally strong and very easy to use. Much better than the traditional molybdenum screws we are all so familiar with. The only downside is you have to drill a 1/2" hole in the drywall to install it. It's a big hole. If you agree , this is the key way NOTE YOU ARE USEING 10-24 SIZE SCREWS Based on the many reviews here this has caused a lot of confusion and frustration 3/16"-24 and 10-24 are identical but any hardware store and Merchant…

Pros
  • Made in the USA and works with UNC 3/16"-24 metal screws (sold separately)
Cons
  • Some bugs

Toggle switches work great and are considerably cheaper than buying bricks and mortar. However, I would like to point out that they don't come with 3/16-24 bolts like you normally get when buying from Lowes. For the price, nothing to complain about except that "screws not included" should be stated more clearly in the listing as almost all other retail packaging options have 3/16-24 mounting screws. can be hard to find locally, but #10-24 is plentiful. The thread pitch is exactly the same with…

Durable and easy to use. USING 10-24 SCREWS

I've been using them in different sizes for years. They are exceptionally durable and very easy to use. Much better than the traditional molybdenum bolts we all know so well. The only downside is that you have to drill a 1/2 inch hole in the drywall to install it. That's a big hole. If you're ok with that, then this is definitely the way to go. SIZE 24 BOLTS. Toggler would be wise to market them with 10-24 bolts instead of 3/16"-24 bolts. Based on many reviews here, this has caused a lot of…

Everything I needed

That's a godsend. My apartment (a 1920's period building) has thin metal studs everywhere, so I use drywall anchors for everything I hang. The lowest anchors I use are galvanized ones that look like giant drill bits. Good for wall mirrors, framed pictures, hanging plants, etc. I meant something more. I recently won a big deal on a vintage wall. It's Scandinavian style where you put rails on the wall and then hang shelves, cabinets, tables and anything else you need on these rails. All the…
