🖋️ Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pen Hard: 3 Pens per Pack - Japan Import with Hard Brush Tip Review

This is my pen for warming up, exercising or trying something new. I learned from this and love the quality, strength and durability of the pen.

These Tombow brush pens are so great and high quality. The brush tips are soft and flexible, allowing even a beginner like me to paint beautifully on my bullet journal! They also came with some lovely translucent ruler templates that make spacing and creating straight lines on the go super easy!

I received these pens on April 7th. I used one of these once in my diary bible and it worked great. However I haven't touched them since and tried one today to use all 3 were completely dry, lay upside down in a pen holder on my desk, weren't exposed to heat or cold, too bad i can't use them now.

I am changing my rating. They worked better after I used them for a while. I was so used to the liners that I was afraid I would ruin the tip if I applied too much pressure. But for me they need a little more pressure in the beginning to make them more flexible and brush-like. Now I like them more and appreciate the size and control they offer for my handwriting practice. (First Review) These are NOT brush pens. You are just a thin feather. I'm so pissed. 😞

I had really high hopes for these pens. I am new to handwriting as shown in the attached image. I played with them for a while and read that these pens are great for beginners. I received them today and tore them up and was immediately upset. As you can see, the ink flow is the marker flow that is running out of ink. Even after multiple uses, it hasn't improved much. Not sure if I just got an unreliable set or if this is the standard but I would say there may be better options for you :)

This is Tombow! This brand has built an incredible reputation and their Fude pens definitely live up to expectations! I LOVE these pens. Why didn't I know about this years ago? I do not know. But I make up for lost time by buying them regularly and often recommending them to other illustrators.
