Pleasure to use: Hand tool

I have a passion for exceptional quality and performance and knipex never lets me down. They are especially useful in stores. They work as tip and wire cutters, as well as wire strippers, and they do all of those things well.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • No performance

Great general purpose electrical pliers

Great for general purpose electrical pliers, crimping tool is fine, would have preferred the handles an extra inch of length for leverage, but for the occasional connector clip it's perfect. This tool has replaced about three pounds of other hand tools.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Spent and oh so worth it.

I don't care if that bunch of crap is $120. I'm going to buy it. This is a tool I use at least 30 times a day. Everything from needle tips to wire cutters/MCs, EMT inserts, pliers, wire strippers. This is my favorite tool to carry and use. I will replace them every time I blow them up.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities

A highly recommended tool. I'm an electrician JW and 2.

A highly recommended tool. I'm a JW electrician and two of my students had this tool from different manufacturers. Minor imperfections and lower quality than other brands are absent from this pliers. They all do well, and cutters work particularly well on MS.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

I carried Milwaukee 6-in-1 pliers in my tool belt just because I like having a decent wire cutter and needle tip, and then a guy who works with HVAC recommended them to me. Not remanufactured but they are definitely expensive for what they are. They won't replace good pliers in your pocket or on your belt, but for the casual handyman they're perfect.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Modern

Too expensive for what it is. I bought the Knipex Tools 13 81 8 6 in 1 Dip Handle Wiring Pliers Red as another unique set of fine jaw pliers to use for non-standard tasks. I find they are quite expensive for what they are. I'm only giving four stars instead of five because of the swivel joint, it's just a screw. They can be tightened and loosened, which can be nice, but I don't find them as nice or as secure as fixed pliers. I also think this is the weak point of this hand tool as it can loosen

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Speed

They weren't what I expected, I thought they were bigger and had slightly different proportions so I was when I received them a bit disappointed but instead of sending them back I decided to just toss them in my tool bag and see what happens. Well, let me tell you that I use these guys every day. The Wouk is great for stripping and cutting larger wires, and also makes a nice clean cut in 1/2 and smaller RF coaxial cables. I don't use pliers that often, but it's nice to have them with me because

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Compatibility
