Very good product

Bought this drill bit to attach battens to a concrete block wall with cement screws and was very impressed with the cutting speed. and how well it cleaned the cut material. Due to the ease of use, this product is highly recommended.

Pros
  • One piece construction withstands higher torsional loads than standard quick change bits
Cons
  • I will add later

Won't drill anywhere near 4 inches.

You'd think the 4" drill bit advertised would drill a hole over 2" deep, but this bit says it does on the packaging (actually 2-1/8". ). If you only want a 2" hole this will work, if you want deeper this won't work. I wanted to pre-drill 2-1/2" concert nails in old concrete, so this drill bit proved useless.

Pros
  • Built for maximum reliability and long life with impact tools
Cons
  • old

Faulty product?: Masonry Drill Bit

I've been installing seamless gutters for a lifetime and I use these 1/8" masonry drill bits to drill a pilot hole in grout so I can have them installed somewhere of downspouts and this is by far the worst bit ever for my second hole which was drilled in one of the softest mortars which I think chipped both carbide tips rendering them unusable. I'll upload picture tomorrow

Pros
  • Black oxide coating resists corrosion and increases bit life
Cons
  • unreliable
