Certainly not the most typical application but that's what I use it for. This is my second one replacing the old one I've had for years that was lost in a recent move. I use this with a set of 6" ball pin swivel heads with a built in ratchet so I don't smoke my drill bit when starting the engine. It's definitely better than running the engines I work on. .

This hex shank for my Dewalt 20v hammer drill conversion has proven to be excellent. So far, this hex shank has withstood the abuse of motorcycles and automobiles. I do have a small gripe, however, that the ball mount system doesn't "snap" into the seat as hoped and usually pulls away from the hex shank and screw which I loosen or tighten. Overall I would recommend this product.

I never thought of an impact wrench because "what can it do that my drill can't?"
