Bigger than you think

I bought this at first thinking it would be smaller so it would be easier to carry in my EDC but gosh I'm glad I did I bought it, its handles are super comfortable to hold, excellent quality steel.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Good but not great

In the Groove Best in Power & Hand Tools

I like Irwin pliers for quality at a reasonable price. I use 6" adjustable slotted pliers, and curved jaws are a good intermediate choice over flat or V-shaped jaws. but will probably come loose with use.

Pros
  • Stylish and Modern Design
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

Very good hand tool

Usually carry 6" channel locks but wanted to try them for the larger grip for more power and comfort. They are alright. I don't really like installing a bolt/nut versus a rivet on ducts. too big so you can't always get close to your work. The gap in the mouth is also suitable for nuts, but not for work with a smaller diameter.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Great price

Good workmanship sloppy slide hinge

workmanship and handles are good but the slide hinge is very sloppy and this set uses a rivet for adjustment not a nut. voltage. The slider is also already tight at one end of the adjustment and VERY loose at the other end (largest jaw opening versus smallest). For the price, it's good for a backup tool but bad for everyday use. Would check other options first if buying again, even for the price.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • can't remember but there was something

Very good tool from the toolbox

Very competent tool - simple and uncomplicated, works very well. Buy one and keep it in your tool box, you're going to need it.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Clarity

Not bad - needle nose and serrated pliers

6 inch channel locks usually wear out but I wanted to try them for the larger grip for more power and comfort. They are alright. I don't really like the bolt/nut installation versus the rivet on the ducts; too big so you can't always get close to your work. The gap in the mouth is also suitable for nuts, but not for work with a smaller diameter.

Pros

Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

Good workmanship, sloppy serrations

Finish and grips are good but the serrations are very sloppy and this set uses a rivet instead of a nut to adjust the tension. The slider is also already tight at one end of the adjustment and VERY loose at the other end (largest jaw opening versus smallest). For the price, it's good for a backup tool but bad for everyday use. Would check other options first if buying again, even for the price.

Pros
  • Pliers
Cons
  • No automatic
