Good idea but I can't trust my bike not to fall over.

I use a bike trailer and thought this would be the perfect solution for holding my bike while I attach the trailer and park the bike. /Followers rather than looking for a tree, bench, or wall to lean against. This stand technically works, but I have a feeling that the slightest breeze will tip my bike on its side. I don't feel like I can trust the stand. Designers should add a third support leg in the center of the stand that folds down to the stand on the opposite side of the existing two legs

Waste of time

I thought I found the only one that fits my K2 mountain bike. No luggage racks appear to be compatible with the subframe. But this thing couldn't even become "garbage". I knew I was taking a risk when I read the reviews. But really? The black plastic on top flows into the middle metal part. This gives him the height he needs to reach the pedal. The problem is that they used such a brittle plastic that it broke under the bike's own weight within 5 minutes! It broke right away. All they had to do

  • Consistent test results

  • Not bad

Not worth it either. Production has to be changed.

This is not the fault of the seller but of the stand itself. Brilliant design concept but what did they have in mind when they created the part that could take the most stress out of plastic? It should be all metal, as should the bottom half with a rubber insert to protect the crank. I really liked the kickstand and as my bike doesn't have a proper kickstand attachment point I figured this would be a good portable alternative to my large floor stand cage. This attitude did not last the firstโ€ฆ

Great for apartments and if you cycle to the bar

This trivet is great for short-term use, e.g. B. in a bar. It is very adjustable, so I had no problem using it on mountain bikes. I just toss it in a backpack or put it in a kuzi and pop it in a bottle cage. Ideal for cycling to the bar where you can park your bike nearby and not have to lock it. It's also good when friends ride their bikes to my house. Your bike doesn't have to scratch your walls, just throw it in and everyone wins. You can simply store it somewhere in your desk drawer whenโ€ฆ

Finally got a stand that fits the 29er Diamondback Recoil.

FINALLY a kickstand that fits my Diamondback Recoil 29er! Due to the frame design of my bike, standard footpegs will not fit. So I decided to try this flashstand and it fits and works great. You don't need the black sleeve patch that many say is broken because it's plastic. The minimum height adjustment also provides the perfect angle for my Recoil 29er. So I can throw away the cheap plastic nozzle and keep this thing for myself, it's in the most durable, fully broken in and perfect conditionโ€ฆ

Good idea. But fragile and useless. DO NOT BUY AND DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY!

Hello everyone! I recently purchased a Topeak Flashstand Fat Bike Stand in January 2013 to replace a portable footrest for my high end mountain bike. As there is no room on my mountain bike to properly mount a typical footpeg. I thought it was a pretty good idea from Topeak. Simply take the stand with you on your bike ride and attach it as a stand to the pedal of any bike in seconds. While the idea itself was pretty good, many reviewers point out that the long black plastic on the stand thatโ€ฆ
