Great pump for the price!

This pump is definitely what I was looking for. However, the pump I received only had 1 screw, not 2 as shown in the picture. I tried using the bolts that are currently on my water bottle cage but the pump and cage barely fit together. I ended up having to use the 1 screw I was given to attach it to the frame. It would be nice to get both screws instead of having mine screw matched. I just hope that all my efforts don't break the bottle cage.

I only used it to inflate my MOTORCYCLE tire.

The thing is great so far. I've even used it to inflate my motorcycle tire (just to see if it works). Although it took some effort and the pump got a little warm from the friction, the bottom line is that it worked. Great little pump for the money. I even considered buying another one for my motorcycle and I still could, but obviously I can't carry around a spare motorcycle tire.

Great bike pump

I was surprised how well it worked when inflating my bike tire. Once attached and sealed around the stem, it filled up very well and relatively quickly. Sure, it needed some leveling, but it wasn't exactly tedious work. The pump mount easily attaches to my water bottle cage by removing the bottle cage and then reinstalling it by screwing the pump mount behind the water bottle cage, allowing the pump to mount next to the bottle cage. This is a great bike pump, simple and straightforward.

Pros
  • Tested for a year
Cons
  • I don't have much to complain about, everything is fine

Lightweight and appears to be well made.

I purchased this in April 2010 for $13.71 - full price with no rebates or credits. We don't bike very much so even though it's been running for over 7 years it's of little help. Inflate several tires a year in the spring. But I think it inflates pretty quickly with double action and I love the fact that it can inflate both types of valves. It's easy when you know how. I agree with another reviewer who says it's sometimes difficult to "get it on" the valve stem, but that's my only issue and it's

Compact and lightweight

I've used it on both dirt bikes and mountain bikes for a season. It works well, but for a double-acting pump it seems pretty slow. It's about the same size as my old single-acting pump but doesn't seem to fill faster. Not sure if it's as well made as my old pump (wish I knew what the old pump was - it was a gift). The head is great for Presta or Shraeder valves, but you have to unscrew it and flip the fitting. My old pump worked with both types without any changes. I don't regret the purchaseโ€ฆ

Goodbye! like my first bicycle pump for my small folding bike!

My friend got a small folding bike last week. Next I needed to buy an affordable, reliable, unmanned bike pump. I tested 6 bike pumps on Revain, read all the reviews and got this one. It was bigger than I expected and strong enough to rock my small bike wheels. The size (length) is about 11 inches, when I pull the pump all the way out it's about 13.5 inches. In the photo it looks smaller than it is. I'm glad it's bigger than I thought. My bicycle wheels (tires) are gradually deflating and Iโ€ฆ

Just what we need for our amateur bikes

We got tired of pulling out the compressor and had problems with the previous pumps. This is well made, no wobbly parts. It inflates when pushed and pulled. It seems quite small, but it quickly inflated my kids' tires to 20" x 2.1" - maybe 1 minute to put on 55 pounds. In addition, it is inexpensive. Exactly what we need. This goes up to 140 pounds and can work with Shrader and Presta valves as well as the third type (Dunlop?). It's compact, lightweight, and has a mount for mounting under aโ€ฆ

Fast, small pump for cycling

Today, after 1237 km, I shut down my TerraTrike (recumbent tricycle) for the first time so that I can finally write a review. I got a shard of glass caught in my left front tire about eight miles from home. The tires are quite large in volume (20 x 1.75) and inflated (80-100psi) so I had some concerns about such a small pump. The pump worked very well. The pre-connection was safe. The tire locked up after about a minute of fairly easy inflation. Towards the end the pressure increased so Iโ€ฆ
