Pocket size is not what they say.

I thought the dimensions should be 14.2" x 8.3" x 7.5". No! I bought these to hold my 14" U-lock. Unfortunately too short! Well built but the size is way off. i will return it

MODIFIED FOR MY FAT EBIKE

This Topeak DXP bag is now a staple on my e-fatbike. This is an excellent roomy bag with foldable baskets. This model is not equipped with a Rack Draw and Draw System. Instead, I attached it to the post with a large piece of Velcro. Works perfectly!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Best best best! fits accessory

I've been driving with a bag in the trunk for over 25 years and this is by far the best. Good quality aside, zipped baskets are awesome! I use my bike for commuting and also for shopping to the local train and these baskets are the best. This bag is also a good choice for a short overnight bike ride. This is the ultimate rack pack, IMO. Light, roomy and durable. I wouldn't change anything about that.

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Socket required

Quality product

I like the quality and the ease of installation. I really don't like the fact that I only found out after getting it and installing it on my rack that you need to have support bars on the side of your rack when untangling and loading the side bags. I don't have such crossbars, so the side pockets are completely useless for me. This notice should have been clearly stated in the product description. If that were the case, I would not have bought this model.

  • Confident
Cons
  • Not the best

the side velcro is so clunky and unnecessarily adds to the on/off time

Uhh, I really liked that pannier. before throwing it over your bag to dismount without disaster. There are also two Velcro fasteners on the front of the bike carrier - why not two simple ones on the back? nope You get two SIDE velcro straps with weird/bulky attachments that add a lot of time to successfully put the bag on and off the rack. So stupid. It can be so easy. I would not recommend this bag to anyone who commutes to work or elsewhere and puts it on/takes it off daily. takes too long…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from the testers
Cons
  • So far so good

Exactly what I was looking for

I have ridden my e-bike 6200 miles and the trunk I have used never felt big enough and I have the Topeak Models admired for a while but never seen one was not a quick release that didn't fit my luggage rack. Finally when I was looking for a new suitcase with panniers I came across this one with velcro and it's just about perfect for all needs. The construction, the zippers and the ease of use in the luggage rack are perfect. However, there is a downside if you take it to work and want to take…

Very good bag for safe storage of the e-bike battery

This review refers to the velcro version. This is the second TrunkBag EX I've bought. The first was the MTX version, which requires a Topeak MTX rack. If you don't already have a rack for your bike, I recommend an MTX rack and bag, as the patented MTX mounting bar offers a much better way to attach a bag compared to Velcro. E-bike conversion. The folding bike I was converting had a rack designed for its 20" wheels, so I had to go for the velcro version. The straps keep the bag secure, but…

Great bag, flimsy but appropriate straps to attach

There are many options if you don't have a luggage rack that fits a specific brand. Reviews about it are good, with one exception: Velcro fasteners. I was hoping they weren't as thin as described, but alas. But with the end straps attached, the bag sits on the frame with very little movement. The straps themselves are 3/8 inch wide but long enough to wrap around any rack I think. I wouldn't keep this bag if I had to take it off the bike regularly. The bag itself is worth 5 stars. After a month…
