Do not use the included drywall anchors.

I originally installed using the drywall anchors that came with it. After pulling a bracket out of the wall with the bike hanging from it, I reinstalled it using 100# drywall tumblers. Since then no problems.

Cons

Buy it. you will like it

1. Works as advertised. Durable.2. Excellent fit and finish.3. Comes complete with everything needed for installation.4. Ease of installation. You will need a #2 Phillips screwdriver, drills/bits, hammer, 3mm allen wrench, 8mm allen wrench. I bought 3.

Cons
  • Almost everything is in order

Not for MTB. Topeak lied about the size.

Advertised maximum tire width of 2.35. My MTB 2.2 tires didn't even come close. Waited past my return deadline before trying. I think I have a helmet holder. At least I didn't make big holes to make it fit.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Quality

Works great, bought a second one.

I bought one for my racing bike for the first time about 6 weeks ago. It worked so well I bought a second one for my wife's road bike. They're well made and pretty easy to install (it took about 10 minutes the second time). I made sure to put them on the shelf. I just don't think the included drywall anchors will last long. The presence of a side hook is great for a helmet. I think they are best used on lighter road bikes. I think it would be a bit of a hassle if you had heavier bikes to get on

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Protection

Make sure you have a suitable place to hang your bike.

We looked at several bike mounts and finally settled on this one. Some of the other mounts fixed the bike to the wall so it didn't stick out but took up a lot of wall space. This mount doesn't take up much wall space and is great when you need to hang something in a tight space and have relative room for helmets and gear. It was easy to install and we had no problems with it. With a mount we can store the bike in an easily accessible place and have fewer excuses not to go out and ride.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Well made hangers on trunk, transport and storage

I bought three of these as I have more bikes than there is space in my garage. I installed them side by side and learned a few things about the hardware. First you really need to find studs to install these bike hangers. The top screw that attaches the mount to the wall supports pretty much the entire weight of the bike and I don't think a drywall anchor will work properly, although I did notice that the installation kit included both drywall and wood screws . . The good news is that for…

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Hard to tell
