We ordered this to help with knee and back problems from long periods of standing at a desk at home. I don't really see how this helps in any way. Is it basically a worry mat? There's really no science on how it helps with prolonged standing. I'll switch to a balance board or balance mat that activates your core and just makes more sense.

This is a great concept but the reviews seem beyond exaggerated. Foot placement variety is good, but I've had this experience before with rubber blocks over soft carpet for a fraction of the price. If space and budget allow, I would HIGHLY recommend using the larger version of this anti-fatigue mat. I'm a 5ft 3in female, I use a sit-stand converter over my existing IKEA desk and I prefer to stand barefoot or wear socks over a pretty plush rug when working from home. the time I have used this mat (barefoot or in socks) and that was 10 days.
