decent drive but can be finicky

I bought 5 packs of 64GB to put Linux OS images on. When you try to upload images to them, they fail or accidentally get disabled. After troubleshooting, they seem to be very sensitive when connected to USB hubs. When connected to 4 different USB hubs (some powered, some not), they would disconnect or fail to complete the image transfer. Tried to reformat while connected to a USB hub and same errors. When connected directly to the computer's I/O panel on the motherboard, they stayed connected…

Impressed so far: Storage

I have a couple of USB 2.0 micro drives that I've used quite extensively over the past 3 years and they've started giving me problems with drive errors. I wanted USB 3.0 because file transfer was much faster. So far they meet my needs and expectations. As for longevity. I will know in 2 years

Terrible USB sticks

Terrible writing speed. When trying to use it in my Kawai CA59 for recording, it keeps crashing and shutting down. Test it on a disk marked PC and it doesn't work for random writes. To return.

With 32 GB it didn't work, but with 16 GB everything is fine.

The 32 GB adapter pack proved to be very problematic: 4 out of 5 failed. Please note that the previous set of 16GB drives (different style) was fine. Also note that the seller quickly refunded the money for the purchase of 32GB even after the first 30 days.

They look good but are unreliable.

I hardly used one, two I didn't use at all, but two I had problems with on both Windows 10 and Linux (on three different machines) - on systems where my other flash drives work reliably. Sometimes one of the two doesn't answer at all. At other times they both blink once, then the internal LED stays on - and although the operating system knows something is there, it doesn't allow access to the file system. Ejecting and reinstalling the flash drive multiple times…

Fast and compact: computers and accessories

Some flash drives are too wide to fit in the laptop USB port. Not this one. Some have the manufacturer's software loaded, which can cause problems. Not this one. The capacity (16GB) is perfect for my needs to transfer data from one PC to another. They are fast and recognized immediately by Win10. You can't tell top from bottom, but that doesn't matter. Exactly what I needed: good flash drives, fast sequential reads, low price = good value

This is an overview of USB 3.0 32GB 5 Pack. But not the USB 2.0 drives, which are also featured in this product list. Flash drives are mostly mass-produced, so I look for performance and price. I wanted my IT practice to use a set of different colored discs to carry around different boot tools, including different versions of portable Windows.
