34 of them installed - there is nowhere better

They are so cool, I put 34 of them in the house. I had one where there was a joist right in the middle of my ceiling, I cut a 6" hole and left 1" on each side of the joist, just enough to attach clamps to either side. We moved a junction box to the attic and installed light from the main room. 1/2 inch spacing I was able to easily mount this lantern. There is no built-in light that can do that! These are excellent lamps, I am very happy with them. No noise when dimming or flickering. I usedโ€ฆ

Easy to install; excellent light output; Good value for money!

I have 25 of these lights installed in my basement; everything on dimmer switches and can say that I am very satisfied with this product. Before installing, I emailed a question to the company, who responded very quickly. I think it deserves the attention of a conscientious company. I read many reviews before purchasing these flashlights and was a bit hesitant to go with the 4000k type. For those who don't understand light color measurements, your standard soft white incandescent bulb isโ€ฆ

Beautiful lights, easy to install

It's time to contribute to the community by sharing your experiences. First review, please keep it simple. Very happy with these lights: bright, uniform, stylish, low power consumption and easy to install. When I started the project, I considered traditional recessed can lighting, but encountered problems with ceiling joists. With these fixings you don't have to worry about the position of the ceiling joists. Plus they save money. They average $15 each, better than what you can make with cansโ€ฆ

The 2700k color temperature is wrong, the 100W equivalence rating is way above average.

Very disappointed with these lights. My first Torchstar purchase was a 6 inch 2700k equivalent 90w inline retrofit kit and I really liked them. Prices started to drop, I bought an 8 pack in February for a renovation project. They went back on sale earlier this month so I bought another pack of 8. I wish I could open the first pack and try them out during the return period because these are terrible compared to the aftermarket built-in bulbs. First, they're sold as equivalent 100-watt bulbsโ€ฆ
