Received this as a replacement hard drive in my old Alienware M14 laptop. It was a perfect fit, and as soon as I installed the operating system and new drivers for the laptop, it worked right away. Plenty of storage and low noise, frankly this is wasted on a laptop backup.

I got this hard drive to replace a dead original PS4 hard drive. Unfortunately, this hard drive died after installing PS4 OS on it. It hit the initialization splash screen with questions and then went into the boot loop. My computer doesn't even recognize the drive anymore. Went to the cheapest store and bought a WD Blue, successfully installed and formatted a new hard drive several times to test that it wasn't my PS4. Looks like this hard drive :(. Beware of buying this one.

Bought this HD to replace a broken HD. The laptop is over 5 years old, so getting a solid state drive wasn't worth it. They gave me my laptop because it wasn't working. I have found that HD. That was the best $39 I've spent in a long time. I installed Ubuntu Linux on it. Works like a champion, no broken sectors.

It's a little slower than my previous drive BUT it's installed and working fine. To replace a small old drive in my laptop (300GB drive) I couldn't ask for more. Faster drives cost MUCH more!

This was used to backup my SSD boot drive. It worked well. Whenever my boot drive fails or gets infected, I put that in until I get another SSD.

Can't write BAD enough about this disk. I bought the exact same model as a replacement in a Lenovo laptop. ERRORS! Normally I would buy a much newer and faster model but the customer wanted cheap. Please! Finally returned for a refund.
