Yes, this is hdd and ssd cannot be compared in speed, this is logical, but this disk is more designed for good loads, for data storage. With its pros: In general, a normal disk. it’s really clear that the branded one has been working for the 5th month already and everything is fine with its performance, for recording streaming video, or just as a file cleaner, the very thing, there were no problems with disk recognition, it works stably Different cons: Not loud. but not silent, normal, I have a

Not perfect quality, some small defect.

I stood in the Dahua NVR, it worked fine, it was not noisy, it did not get warm while it was working - there were no problems. After 1 year 4 months after installation, the NVR suddenly began to squeak notifying of a write error, going through the web interface to the NVR, it turned out that the hard drive was no longer seen in the system. I decided to check the warranty, as a result, a bummer with Toshiba: Warranty from the store - 1 year, expired. Manufacturer's warranty 2 years - applies…

Pros
  • While working - everything was fine.
Cons
  • Failed after 1 year 4 months. No manufacturer's warranty.

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

I bought it to replace a 1-terabyte WD that started to "crumble", 8 years of operation - this is still a term for a hard drive. I didn’t bother with a long choice, I bought something bigger and cheaper, because. There is a main system disk - ssd for 250 GB. However, the drive was very pleased with almost complete noiselessness (the old WD 7200 rpm constantly reminded of itself), high access speed (there is no lag due to the mechanical spinning of the pancake, apparently the buffer compensates…

Pros
  • Silent, sometimes you forget that this is a mechanical hard drive, not an SSD, high access speed, large, does not heat up. All in all, an ideal data warehouse.
Cons
  • Didn't find it.
