Cheap devices, save your money

Not recommended. Less than five rides and the buckle broke. Not even hard riding, just walk and trot. photos shown. For how much this strap cost I expected to use it for years.

Just what I needed for saddles and accessories

Bought this for a bare converter saddle as I needed a short strap. My mares love their long girths so I knew I needed a girth when I needed a short one. Went with the synthetic because it was cheaper but still very satisfied.

Excellent girth and relief for elbows and shoulders

Large girth and relieves elbow and shoulder strain. Synthetic is a bit stiffer than I would like so it might irritate a sensitive horse. However, I use a full fit sheepskin rug, so I can't say if it would ever bother a horse that it was 'broken in'. Now that I've used it for a few months, it's softer and smoother. Overall I am satisfied with the product and would buy it again

Wow . Doesn't matter. Great scope!

All I can say is WOW! I was very skeptical about buying an anatomical harness but the first ride today was just amazing. My gelding used to park under saddle a lot, it was definitely uncomfortable so as a last resort I tried the TSF plastic model today, what a surprise, he raised his back, stopped parking, forward and happy. Honestly I'm shocked I didn't think it would make such a big difference but now I believe!

The best purchase I've made!

I love this belt! I have a very short backed, broad shouldered, rounded QH who gets upset when his potholder doesn't fit properly. I almost gave up hope of riding in a saddle and rode bareback almost exclusively. I decided to buy this strap as a last resort. That is amazing! The saddle stays behind his shoulder and does not move or slip. My horse stopped kicking and kicking because the saddle was moving. We achieved the best results in dressage and excellent clean rounds in show jumping and…

Good product - straps

This strap has many good features. I like the concept very much. Unfortunately, the one I bought (the non-leather version) is very stiff. I have another synthetic harness from Thinline which is very soft and I was hoping that it would combine the softness of that harness with a very nice offset shape. My horse, which is very sensitive, sometimes complains about it at the end of a ride, although I always ride with a rather weak girth. On the plus side, it's as easy to clean as they claim and…

Good shape but may not fit all horse shapes

Not a good fit for my horse as it is too tight and doesn't allow much movement. She has a very deep(?) shoulder. This girth presents almost the same problem as the standard girth, it pulls the saddle down behind your withers. I would say it cuts well off the elbow and if I didn't have a very forward facing saddle combined with her build it might work better. I'm going to try the TSF elastic strap and hopefully I can sell this to help offset the cost (unfortunately I figured some of our strap…

Amazing scope! I would definitely buy again and recommend!

I love this strap! My horse has old wounds behind his shoulders that bothered even my dull sheepskin girth. I've tried several straps of different shapes that wouldn't bother these stains and only this one left them completely clean. Now he's much more comfortable because those spots don't rub and his shoulder movements are much better, the lengthening is great! And the material is great. I didn't want the leather version because it's so stiff and uncomfortable for me. This is flexible enough…

Works as described for other sports

I have a horse with a large sloping shoulder and a very forward girth groove. Even though the rails on my dressage saddle are one of the best adjustments for this situation, despite the anatomically humane neoprene girth, my saddle still tended to slide forward while riding. I decided to try Total's girth after reading some online reviews and one manufacturer's claim that it should solve my problem. This has worked for about 10 trips so far. When lunging, the saddle still moves forward a little
