I made this from my dog's ashes and I am disappointed with how little space it leaves. My first impression was that the crystal was hollow and you could see the ash, but on the back it seems like the only spot for the ash is where the thread is threaded, it's a star decoration that doesn't hold that much like me like

The necklace is simply beautiful. If you try to use it as a URN. much luck! It literally has an area no more than 1/16th the size of an eraser for ash to get into. The photos give the impression that you can see the ashes on the back of the necklace and that the ashes are somehow held on the back of the necklace. Was very very very disappointed! When we all got together as a family to share the ashes...I didn't get a refund for the 2 I bought.

10/18/2020 Update: Just over a month ago the return window flew out and the urn broke. It's just cheap (albeit nicer) junk. I'll try to contact the manufacturer as it shouldn't have fallen apart like that. I will update my review if they decide to replace or repair it. It is the same as the pictures, no fading problems.
