Tow Ready 118031: Heavy-Duty Metal Trailer End 7-Way Flat Pin Connector Review

As an automotive enthusiast, I was excited to use this product. As a result of using this connector, I found that it had a very loose fit and didn't securely lock into place. Additionally, the wiring wasn't very durable and frayed very quickly. The only pro was that it was easy to install, but that was overshadowed by the cons. Overall, I would not recommend this product to anyone in need of a reliable trailer connector.

They work great but I was hoping for stronger metal. It's very thin, to the point where it deforms and becomes out of round only when the set screw is tightened.

Unlike Plastic:; this one doesn't rip the case like the plastic ones ---- Arrived on time and was well packaged, I had to revise my review as there is something I think buyers should be aware of ---- -- --The wire clip ( rear clamp around the wires) is not permanent and can cause the wires to twist and possibly short out. This is very bad as it doesn't take long (small weld) to immobilize it. That's why I changed my opinion from 5 stars to 2.
