Tailgate for Parts

I needed to replace the jacks on my sunroof. They are easy to install and actually work better than old elevators that have been damaged.

Excellent product in the field of erector poles

These poles are very easy to install. Took me about 5 minutes. They provide enough lift to keep the tailgate from hitting my head. Good product!

I wish we had received them sooner.

I have a 2010 Prius and mine has been getting weak for a long time, my husband was easy to put together and now I don't have to worry about the tailgate falling on my head when unloading the car!

No cushioning! Best in Lift Jacks

Unlike Toyota lift jacks they don't have any noticeable cushioning (yes, following the instructions I installed them closed with the shaft pointing downwards). Aside from the whole car shaking when the sunroof opens fully, the main problem with the lack of damping is that the bracket that these struts attach to is bolted to a very thin sheet of metal that flexes a lot (see Video). This can eventually lead to a crack in the one-piece sheet metal housing, which can be costly to repair. Visually…

Installed in minutes in 2010 Prius

Quick look on day of receipt/installation. These props arrived 6 days before the estimated delivery date. This is during the COVID-19 frenzy so delivery times are completely arbitrary, especially for such a non-essential item. The elevators arrived in perfect condition, in nice plastic cases, clean and not smelly, not greasy or anything. A one-page instruction manual was included, which I read before starting. I was able to replace the existing (weak) jack stands on my 2010 Toyota Prius myself…
