Couldn't be simpler, fast enough

These aren't the best mesh units, but they might be the best bang for your buck. Unless you're a videographer with a lot of local network traffic, the limits of these devices are likely many times your internet speed, so even whole families of streamers won't be limited by them. If you have gigabit internet and regularly bang out the crap with steady, full-fledged traffic, you might be looking for devices with a dedicated wireless backhaul instead. Otherwise, for more capacity than you're…

DO NOT BUY THE "UPDATE "

I should have known better but I took a chance. The system worked flawlessly for 2 hours. Then the WiFi speed started to fluctuate wildly from 600 to less than 100. Within 48 hours one of the satellites went dead and wouldn't connect until you reconnected it with a cable. I should have known there was a problem because initially the same satellite would not connect wirelessly like the other without syncing over the cable. The system if new and working would have a rating of 4-4.5, but with an…

Complete waste of time and money

After unpacking it turned out that one of the deco blocks was defective. The RMA process to replace this item is an absolute nightmare and requires hours of phone calls to TP-Link customer service - useless troubleshooting, language barriers, and frequent delays. A week later, two more units ceased operations. As this did not come directly from Revain they cannot help at all and TP Link requires shipping and deposit to resolve this issue in a timely manner. The reseller does not respond at all.

Buyer Warning. Expensive WiFi that doesn't work

Bought to replace an old Tends mesh network after reading reviews. Bought an updated version of Revain as it was cheaper. Connected according to the ad, follow the instructions. It took a lot of tries, resets and repeats to get it working. It does not work. Remains red and does not connect to the internet. When it finally happened, I couldn't get it to work with my existing network name and password. Worked with simple names like test and passwords like test123. However, if any of them contain…

Probably the best Mesh WiFi 6 system for the whole house

Pros: Excellent whole house coverage for all my devices in the vast majority of cases. The speed is amazing. Wired transport is cool. Probably the best Wi-Fi 6 mesh system for the whole house in terms of price. The Deco app is great for surveillance with one caveat listed below. Cons: The seamless grid feature doesn't work very well. Especially when I'm on a Wi-Fi call and walking around the house since the only way to trigger a switch for the better is to disconnect and reconnect the Wi-Fi…

TP-Link X60 really improved my speed from 30Mbps to 150Mbps

Installation was a bit tricky at first as the Deco x60 used to connect to the router kept changing the disconnected. After the exchange, everything went smoothly. Adding additional decor was easy. On average, it takes less than a minute to add the decompression. I am upgrading from TP-Link Deco M5. Simple decompression was used to get about 200 Mbps from the modem. Now with X60 I get about 300 Mbps. I stay in South Africa where houses are built of brick and mortar. So the signal in my room was…
