    First of all, they work surprisingly well. I'm stuck at a lake in deep snow. I put them on and drove off with no problems, in fact I drove a few miles and they were fine. My problem was they got so tight I couldn't take them off! I have contacted the seller and what they wrote follows (tried, works fine); Hello and thank you for contacting us.     Better not to get stuck than declutch

    I've been using the Trac-Grabber for 2 years now. I have a 1994 F-250 4x4 and use them when the ground is soft with mud or covered with snow. Do they pull me out of every impasse? - NO. But they helped me a couple of times, I didn't think they would. I expose my truck to tricky situations by driving it all over my property so I try to have realistic expectations and so far they have exceeded them. I've found that if I'm not careful and try to unhook TOO FAST I'll be digging a much deeper hole…

    Pulled out, insanely difficult to remove, screwdriver

    Well they did their job but it took me longer to lift them off the truck than it did to unhook them! Settled well in the mud, on a slope, in a 2x4 Suburban XL (with Posi/Z71, so that helped). They relatively fast, maybe too fast for a single wheeler that dropped the Trac Grabber in seconds despite being tightened as tight as I could get it. Luckily I saw it before it got screwed too much on the brakes/axle. Reinstalled and then climbed out of my mud pit Impressed at how relatively easy it was…

    My pickup truck sat on a thick layer of ice in the yard and sank after ca the wheels were sitting in nice little sundaes.
