This product was easy to use with a glue gun. I use it to seal handmade wedding invitations. It kept the envelopes sealed through the mail and guests loved the extra touch. At first I thought I wouldn’t have enough for my 60 envelopes, but I ended up with over half the box left- so there was plenty of product for my project. The color was very nice and wax worked nicely with my stamping tool.

At first, it was easy to use, I love the color too. My only problems are that the sticks are too small for my heat gun, and it’s starting to stick onto my stamp and ruining my envelopes. I’m not sure if it is something I’m doing wrong on my end, but I will let it sit for a few minutes and it still does it. The ones I bought from hobby lobby seem like it is better quality.

When I bought this glue gun I intended on it being a new one lol. Thankfully I noticed the black stains on the side of the glue gun and decided to test the color I had chosen on a paper towel before using it on my wedding invitations! Someone’s left over black wax was still stuck inside! Other than that it worked great! So much easier than having to melt down the wax beads over and over again.

Before using these wax sticks I had used much larger ones from Hobby Lobby that came in a pack of 4 for almost $10. Obviously, I wanted to get as much as I could for my money and came across these. I loved that the price seemed reasonable for the number of sticks, an array of colors, and of course, they could be used in a glue gun. Absolutely love this sealing "wax!” I had no idea that sealing glue existed like this. I used a mini high-temp hot glue gun and pumped about 3-5 pumps of glue onto a nonstick pan, then firmly pressed my stamp into it. I dipped my stamp into a glass of ice water (then quickly dried it) about every three seals I made. This prevented any build up or sticking. I didn’t have a single problem using this product. This is a great product! It fits perfectly in my mini glue gun and worked well with my wax stamp to create seals. I did notice that the wax stamps didn’t ‘crack’ like they traditionally do, but it’s a great affordable option. You could also easily use it with traditional methods of melting wax for stamps but I love the ease of the glue gun.

Let’s start by saying I am new to wax seals. I took one star off for ease of use because there is no way to tell how much was is appropriate for my seal. Sometimes I would get to much others too little. I also experienced leaking from my gun between seals. I never found a way to tell how much to use. I absolutely love these glue sticks. I used them for my wedding invitations, the shimmer was so beautiful. Only reason I knocked off 2 stars was that I had SEVERAL issues trying to find a glue gun that these would fit in. I had my original one and they were to big to fit in them. I used this wax for a jellyfish stamp on my wedding invitations and it worked great! Some sticks were a little tight in my glue gun, but they worked totally fine once I twisted a bit. Navy color was a true navy and is just a little shiny once cooled.

These work amazingly! Per the other reviews a low temp hot glue gun is a must for success. If you have one it will be a++. I ordered two boxes but haven't even used half of one for my 50 invitations. Get these to add that extra touch of razzle dazzle.

The sticks are to big for my gun I’ll have to order multiple guns to see which fits the stick then go through the hassle of returning them. Not thrilled the color is pretty I’m worried once it’s heated it will look very Gray and color with hold specks

I haven't tried with a regular glue gun but the low heat dried very quickly! You've gotta move fast once it's squeezed out!

We used this brand for our wedding envelope as a wax seal and all of our guests loved the extra touch and said they didn't even want to open it because the seal was so beautiful! 10/10 would buy again from this brand.

I wish they had more instructions I was pressing the stamp when the wax was still hot and it wasn't coming out nice until I noticed that if the wax was cooler and you can press on it and it stays better

Haven't used these on a project as yet, but did check them out. They were great, and I look forward to using them, if I ever get to send cards from home in the future (actually send them from work currently and candles would NOT be a good idea!).Great product!

The color was great, but the wax is for a smaller glue gun. The wax also stucks to the stamps somethimes. That's my feedback.

I used this for my Disney wedding invitations. A little went a long way and I was easily able to address invitations for 150 people with one box of glue. I'll be keeping the second box to send thank you letters ❤Fun tip: when working with wax keep a cup of ice and a towel nearby. If you are working on multiple invitations the stamp will become super hot, so to help with workow, after 3 invitations I would cool down the stamp in ice and wipe it throughly until dry with a towel.
