Trans Dapt 8794 Stake Pocket Covers Review

A small snip with a carpenter's knife and they fit perfectly in the panniers of my 16 Ram 1500 double cab. They have a glossy finish that may put some off.

I ordered this because it was originally said it would fit. The back of the box says Chevy 1988-99, GMC. Attention Silverado owners. Get "JOYTUTUS Stake Pocket Cover Trucks Bed Rail Post Hole" instead, it really fits.

Even with a sputtered liner that adds a bit of thickness they fit well. I used pliers to bend the short tabs a bit and a hammer and they went in. I actually broke one of the reeds and even when it broke the fit is snug and just right. I ordered another set to cover all six holes. The truck has bed LEDs with wires running through the rear pillars and I needed something to cover them up. You are perfect!

I used these on the back pockets of my 2014 Ram 1500. Some sanding is needed to adjust, especially the corners of the bag lid because they are too tight. After that I used a rubber mallet to gently hammer them in place. My truck has a Back Flip G2 decklid and I have had no installation issues or conflicts with the lid. Hopefully I can keep some water in bed now.

Used to fill the hole in the stake pocket. It's glossy black plastic trim that doesn't look like plastic you'd find on the outside of a car. I bought these for my 2016 RAM 1500 knowing I would need to change them based on information in another review, although the specs list the exact size of my betting pockets.
