Good price, good size, mediocre read speed.

Okay, I know it's not a Sandisk brand, but half a terabyte for $60 isn't bad. A bit slow to read, I can judge from the Sandisk 128GB version. It tends to drop frames when I'm reading multiple videos (evaluating security clips at the same time). Edit (29 Aug 2019): I just tested the LEXAR 512GB MicroSDXC (blue label design) and it's slow. If you need cheap big storage, get Transcend. Avoid Lexar.

Fast enough for 100Mbit 4K and inexpensive!

Transcend 300S 256GB SDXC card writes at 50MB/s and reads at 80MB/s in the built in reader in my HP Elitebook according to the CDM (see attached image). The price of the card is acceptable. I have no problem recording 100Mbps 4K on my Sony RX100 VII. Overall, this is a very solid SD card option, with performance on par with comparable but more expensive cards from some of the more well-known brands.

It's 29GB and pretty average at best.

These are relatively average cards with the right price. The cheapest 32GB cards I could find. I only use them for playback on my digital frame and not for important photo shoots. Even if that storage eventually fails, I just create another SD to play from my backups. I have used items from Transcend before and the lifespan seems to be average. I haven't had any unexpected crashes. However, these cards are 29 GB. it's 3GB down from 32, so I'm not sure all companies save capacity this way, but…

Don't buy, you will be disappointed! Don't Buy Don't Buy card worked once!

Do not buy this item. I am absolutely dissatisfied with this product. I used this card once for about 100 photos. The second time I used this in my camera, the screen didn't work and the camera didn't take any pictures. I assumed that the battery in my camera was defective. I bought a battery for my camera and had the same problem. I took out the card, replaced it with an older, smaller GB card and the camera worked. Do not buy this item. Do not buy this item. Slow but works well

This is an old technology with very slow writing. You get what you pay for, but it works well and the 512GB SD card storage is very handy. Hard to find at this price. Be prepared for slow writes - typically only 10-15MB/s. But it works for me as I usually only write files to this card once and then read them back and that's fine. My laptop has a good SD card slot which makes them very handy. I've used 128GB and 256GB cards but 521GB is great. (Of course, as always, for security reasons, you…

The best way of everyday life

That's exactly what I like to see when I buy SD cards. No flashy packaging or exaggerated labeling. Simply a well-made device at a good price with equally good performance. I paid $62 for this card which was shipped by Revain and even though the card was shipped *today* the price has already gone up to $75. At the time of writing (January 2020), $62 is a great price for a major brand 512GB SDXC card. Actually the best deal I could find. By the time you're reading this the price will probably be

    Good SD card

I give this product 3 stars because of the way it is advertised. The description states that it can reach read speeds of up to 95 MB/s and write speeds of up to 45 MB/s. I tested mine as soon as I received it with a PC and a USB connection where you plug the SD straight into the adapter so no camera is needed. It's a V30 rated SD card and meets that standard (writes at 30MB/s) but when I recorded a large file to it (around 3GB) it was a good emulation of what was going on in the camera when…
