🚴 Efficient and Secure: Kuat Transfer V2 1-Bike Hitch Rack for Easy Transportation Review

The product was exactly what I was looking for but had some shipping/packaging issues. As expensive as it was, it came out of the box scratched and covered in red, rusty powder. Not sure if this is limited to one clutch or across the range.

I use this rack for my gravel bike and my triathlon bike. Works great for both and holds them in place very well. Easy to install with the included wrench and simple enough for one person to handle. The tie down cable is also a great option and is long enough to wrap both tires around the bike. Great product if you only need to carry around one bike.

Great product. As some other reviews have said, lots of dust and some dingy plastic bits but a solid bike rack all around. Very comfortable after a hard day on the slopes when you are exhausted. There is a nice ride stabilization system built in that allows you to tighten the hitch in the receiver. No wobble ever need to buy a hitch lock. It is not included with the rack and must be purchased separately, although the rack comes with a nice bracket to attach the bike to the frame.

This version of the Kurt luggage rack is brand new. And by brand new I mean design. I used to have a Transfer Kuat strut and the like - this version is much better. Improved shaft system, improved locking mechanism, even improved the way it attaches and tightens to the hitch. I bought this strut thinking it was new. It's not brand new. The layers of red dust I had to wipe off of this rack were incredibly annoying. This rack must be from the third moon of Mars because it had a lot of red mud/mud

The trunk came with minor scratches and stains on the front tire pan. Within a minute it looked almost as used as some of the other reviews said, but after I assembled the rest of the rack it was definitely unused. I got a lot of that "red/orange dust" that the other reviewer was talking about, but I think it's rust coming from the inside of the pipe stand. The exterior paintwork looks very nice, and the stand eventually died Steel. that some flakes of rust may fall out. It took me some time to
