Motorcraft® MERCON® LV is a premium quality automatic transmission fluid recommended by the Ford Motor Company for use in Ford and Lincoln vehicles that require a MERCON® LV type fluid. This product also provides excellent performance in electronically controlled automatic transmissions. It provides wear protection and prevents the formation of tar, deposits, varnish and foam. It also prevents rust and corrosion. It is colored red for easy leak detection.
