There are 2 outputs, one for US 3 pin plug and one for US 2 pin plug. The polarized plug fits into any socket. There's no room at the top for some flip-out chargers, but a 2-pin molded cable connector will do. The metal earth pin looks solid and when connected to earth it powers the UK wall socket mechanism to expose line and neutral holes so it is slightly longer than the other two pins. First of all if you are looking for something to convert UK voltage (220/240V) to 120V this product is not for you. Whether you just need such a power supply or a real voltage converter, you can tell by the electrical specifications of what you want to connect.
