I live in Italy part of the year to work for a travel company. This is the ONLY adapter I'll be using while I'm there - NO converters required! I like this one because it has two sockets in one which means less carrying. I plug my US laptop, cell phone, iPad, portable speakers, curling iron, anything into this adapter plug (as long as your device is dual voltage, it will work without a converter).
