Simple device, great results

Great solution for installing heavy doors. I install doors myself that are over 100 pounds each and it's a huge pain. I decided to try this device and it made the job easier.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Great carpenter's helper

This was a Christmas present for my carpenter's son. He was excited and knew it would be a great help in his work. Of course, his retired carpenter father knew how great that would work.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Better than nothing.

Seems to work. I've used it on heavy solid core doors and it definitely made the job easier, but not THAT MUCH. The tool slips too much and needs a bigger platform and a stronger "pedal". It needs anti-slip upgrade.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Good but not great

Mars at the bottom of the door

I thought it would be handy to make doors yourself, but it ruins the bottom of the door you lift. You could probably use contract paper or something between the elevator and the door to prevent this, but I didn't because I didn't know any better.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Periodicity

Not yet, but maybe with a little development it could be a great tool.

Good idea but not the best tool. Maybe if the part that goes under the door was longer? But this can create a whole new problem. He kept coming out from under the door, but was somewhat useful. Maybe I just need training?

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Updates available

Difficult to use in pocket and double doors Hardware

I find this product quite difficult to use. The door keeps sliding. If the "blade" under the door was twice as wide, it could hold the door better. There should also be a few "points" or spikes pointing up so it will hook onto the door and stay in place. In general, another product in the trash - well - not the first

Pros
  • good item
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

It slips too much but can be fixed

This is a very handy tool. The only issue I had is that it slides a lot on hardwood floors and on the bottom of the door itself. I solved this problem by gluing a rubber grommet, which can be found in the plumbing section of your local hardware store, to the bottom and top of the tool. I used "Original Shoe Goo" to attach the rubber. Shoe Goo is available on Revain. Problem solved.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Fits

Helps with door assembly

Handy lever to help lone workers hold door in correct position; it's not perfect, but useful. It's easy to use, but not perfect. (1) I think the ledge that the door sits on should be an inch longer to match the width of a regular interior door. (2) On the same short ledge, the door may slide off easily; I attached a thin piece of soft rubber to create some friction to keep the bottom of the door from slipping off the edge.

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • Negative gift

Very helpful. Compact and durable. Worth the price.

I had to replace 16 doors in a modular home. These doors were either missing, damaged, or cut at the bottom, leaving a nearly 2 inch gap between the bottom of the door and the floor. Why would anyone install a door like this? In any case, this tool is quite durable and easy to use. I've hung hollow doors so weight wasn't an issue. This is a much better system than installing the old school lever and pivot system. Same result. It's just a lot easier and faster. I highly recommend it. It's still…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Small repair
